CHRISTMAS WALK FOLLOWED BY LUNCH Sunday, 7th December 2008; 11.00am. Cowdray Wood. Balcombe,West Sussex, RH17 6HQ.Leave A23 at Handcross. Car park is on the B2110, close to junction with the B2036. A walk followed by a Christmas lunch at The Crown, East Street, Turners Hill. West Sussex. RH10 4PT. This was a very popular event last year. Even those who braved the rain last year will, I am sure, want to start the festive season this way again! Much fun was had. If you want, miss the walk and meet up with the stoic walkers – all party frocks and wellies - later around the open fire at the pub at 12.30pm.For menu and more details see our website.
