This walk is a few miles north-west of Polegate. From the west travel along the A27, continue straight on at Drucillas Park Zoo roundabout, 0n reaching Wilmington village turn left and follow signs. From the east, on the A27 at the Polegate/Eastourne bypass, take the A22 (north). Turn-off to Abbots Wood is a few miles on the left, then follow signs. From the north along the A22, one mile past the Hailsham turn-off, turn right at sign for Abbots Wood, Arlington and Michelham Priory.

Note that this is a pay and display Forestry Commission car park.
